Duration of Scholarship

The scholarship is granted for one year and is a one-time award for each recipient upon verification of enrollment and attendance at an accredited junior or senior college or university.   (Verification is provided by emailing a schedule of classes for the Fall semester after enrollment to brandonpaladyfoundaton@yahoo.com)

Amount of Scholarship

The number of scholarships awarded and the amount of scholarship awards will be at the discretion of the Selection Committee each year.   Representative college bound seniors from either of the MISD high school men’s soccer teams and either of the MISD high school women’s soccer teams will be considered for these awards.  Awards may be distributed in one lump sum amount and mailed to the recipients local or school address.

Criteria for Selection

The recipient must have actively participated in a MISD area high school soccer programs with special consideration for participation in the Brandon Palady Memorial 4v4 Tournament, must prove enrollment in an accredited college, junior college or technical school after graduation, and must perpetuate the image of Brandon Palady through the following characteristics:

1.  Participation in MISD Soccer Programs…….…. 25 points
2.  Character and Leadership….……………….........…...20 points
3.  Academic skills.…………………………….…....................15 points
4.  Mentorship in the Soccer Program.………......… 20 points
5.  Mentorship in the Community……………....…..... 20 points


Time of Application

Applications must be postmarked by April 1st of each year for consideration.  Application forms may be downloaded from this website, completed and returned to the address listed below.

Selection Committee

The selection committee is determined each year by the Brandon Palady Foundation board members.  A dependent of a Selection Committee member is ineligible to apply for a scholarship.  

Letters of Reference

* Two letters of reference must accompany your application.  One from a teacher, counselor, coach or administrator and one from an outside source as in a previous employer, civic leader, or clergy.

APPLICATION SHOULD BE COMPLETED AND RETURNED WITH YOUR LETTERS OF REFERENCE, POSTMARKED BY APRIL 1, TO:
